Bankruptcy In General
BANKRUPTCY: There are things that we can do for you immediately! Foreclosure: If you have been served with a FORECLOSURE and must file an answer within 20 days, our bankruptcy attorneys will prepare the answer for you for FREE! (if you are our client for Bankruptcy) If you must go to a deposition or pretrial, normally, we can have these canceled upon informing them that you have retained us to file bankruptcy. Our bankruptcy lawyers can also help you to stop tax problems, auto and truck repossessions, creditor harassment, lawsuits, IRS wage garnishment, and tax levies and seizure. Working together we may be able to help you protect and keep your home, your vehicle, your wages, your retirement account and other valuable assets. At the same time we can help you eliminate some or all of your debts from credit cards, medical bills, certain IRS taxes, and judgments. WHAT DOES IT COST? Wage Earner Plans (Chapter 13) - In most cases we only have you pay a filing fee which is under $220.00. Our fees are paid interest free from the monies you pay the U.S. Trustee which are court approved. (Learn more about Chapter 13) Liquidation - (Chapter 7) - We require a down payment of $200.00 and will work out a payment plan for the remainder. How much is decided on a case by case basis. GENERAL Many people, prior to bankruptcy, experience lawsuits, creditor calls or foreclosures; to all of these problems bankruptcy may provide a solution. You do not have to be behind on your bills to get help through bankruptcy or wage earner plans. In fact, many people who file are current on credit cards, mortgages and cars but realize that due to crushing interest rates or illness or other financial problems, they will never get out of debt. Both Chapter 7 bankruptcy, which eliminates debt, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy, wage earner's plan, gives the client a FRESH START. Which Bankruptcy Do I Choose? Which Bankruptcy you choose depends on what needs to be accomplished and this decision will only be made after a careful discussion with you and a total review of your financial situation. The following links will give you an insight as to each chapter.
